I Stopped Running Away — Simple English Story

There were mistakes in my life, and there were responsibilities too.
Sometimes a person doesn’t understand when a small mistake becomes a heavy burden…
and when responsibilities slowly start bending your shoulders.

The same thing happened to me.

On one side, daily problems were increasing.
On the other side, people’s expectations were rising.
And I was stuck between both.

I made many wrong decisions.
I missed many opportunities.
And slowly, the weight of my mistakes became so big that
I couldn’t even handle it anymore.

My debts were growing.
People stopped trusting me.
And I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror.

It felt like the world was moving forward…
and I was standing still in the middle of the road.

In all this stress and confusion, one day I decided
to leave everything and go far away.
I thought maybe distance would give me peace—
something I had been searching for months.

There was no one there who knew me.
No loan collectors.
No one to question me.
I even sold my phone because it had become another problem.

But the biggest fear was—
I had no roof over my head.

Far away from home, in a place where I was nobody,
I sat alone near the sea.
I watched the water… the sun… the open sky…
and I thought that maybe all my problems were finally over.

Waves were coming again and again.
Small fish were jumping on the sand.
Some returned to the water easily.
Some struggled and went back after many tries.
And some gave up and stayed on the sand.

Watching those fish trying to survive
created a strange feeling inside me.

I thought—
Life is exactly like this.
No one has an easy path.
But running away…
is never the solution.

The real solution is— **facing your problems.**

At that moment, I felt a big weight leaving my heart.

I told myself:
“Whatever happens, I will face it.
If the waves come, they will push me forward…
and if the waves don’t come,
I will still keep trying.”

The waves taught me something beautiful—

**Winners are those who keep trying till the end.
Those who stop trying get stuck on the shore.**

After that day, I stopped running away.
Problems still exist,
but I don’t feel scared anymore—

because now I know:
Everyone gets at least one wave in life
that takes them toward their destination.
We just need to keep trying
and never stop moving forward.
